“I absolutely recommend volunteering, especially at STAR. I will tell anyone who will listen about volunteering at STAR.”
Gail Kidston, 68, volunteering with STAR for over 15 months
" I enjoy making a connection with the clients. The call centre allows me to get to know many different people who use STAR to travel. The people I talk to on the phone are the most enjoyable part of my time at STAR. "
Carolyn Byrn, 70, volunteering with STAR for 4 years.
" I started volunteering with STAR while I rehab from a workplace injury. The most enjoyable part of volunteering would be the meaning of the work. It has led me to speak at National day for Disability at the STAR/CODI Ipswich office."
