We believe that everyone should have access to food, medication, companionship and services they need for a safe and healthy life.
Our elderly are often so quiet that their needs can be forgotten. Too many older members of our community feel isolated.
Many have no one in their life who can support them. Some do not attend medical appointments because they can’t afford to get to them or they need help to get there.
STAR ensures our elderly are cared for and offers transport to where they need to go.
If you or your business are looking for where you can make a positive impact please consider supporting our elderly stay connected with their community and life.
- $30 helps vital medical and social connections

Become a Secret Santa
What a year it has been! COVID 19 has certainly turned our lives upside-down.
Varying lockdowns and social restrictions have given us all a feel of what it’s like to be isolated. While many of us only had to stay at home for a few months, there are many of us oldies who continually live in isolation and need your support.
For a year that seems to have gone on forever, I can’t believe it is nearly Christmas again.
I would like to invite you to become a Secret Santa by giving a gift or donation to STAR Community Services. Being alone at Christmas brings its own kind of loneliness. hat it’s like to be isolated. While many of us only had to stay at home for a few months, there are many of us oldies who continually live in isolation and need your support.
Your kind donation will enable STAR to give a Christmas present to an elderly person who is on their own!
Let’s show our elderly that we can end this extraordinarily difficult year with a thoughtful gift that shows how much they are cared for and that they are not forgotten.
