Celebration of Volunteers

STAR Community Services and Volunteering Redlands are celebrating National Volunteer Week 2021, and we invite the whole community to join our biggest ever Celebration of Volunteers!

When:   Saturday 22 May 2021

Time:     2pm - 7pm

Where: 146 Shore Street West, Raby Bay Harbour Park in Cleveland.

Volunteers are the backbone of a strong and resilient community like ours. They freely give their time, energy, skills and experience and passion to support their local community. Let’s get together and show how grateful we are of their contributions and also give them the thanks they truly deserve!

2.30pm Quandamooka Welcome to Country and official Opening

3.00pm Volunteer of the Year Awards

3.30pm Cleveland State Primary School Choir

3.50pm Redland City Ukuleles

4.20pm Rockit Productions

4.45pm Melly and the Madmen (1920-1940s music)

5.30pm Aaron & Adele

5.50pm Melly and the Madmen (set 2)

6.45pm Laser Display by Mr Fireworks

You can expect to see stalls from the following community organisations and not for profits:

Abundance College, Brisbane Bayside Crime Stoppers, U3A Redlands District, Redlands Museum, Story Dogs, Rotary Clubs of Cleveland and Capalaba, Girl Guides, SES Cleveland, Mission to Seafarers, Redfest, Redlands View Club, Sailability, Redland City Lions and Capalaba Lions, RDCOTA, Love and Hope Redlands, Yurara Art Society, Redland City Council, Soroptimist International Bayside, Redlands Coast Salad Bowl Gardens, The Cage Foundation, Celebrate Learning, Redland Coast Dementia Community and Volunteering Redlands

Community organisations can still  register interest for hosting stalls.
