STAR Tech is an initiative to support the elderly in using technology in their daily lives, to build new social connections and engage with their community.

The program is open to residents of Ipswich, Redlands and Southern Moreton Bay Islands, aged 65 or over or aged 50 or over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Numbers are limited.Each participant will receive a tablet computer and a Google Home Mini. STAR Tech program is run by STAR Community Services and supported by the Australian Government Department of Health through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme Innovation Funding.
