Branch Committee Secretary sought for Fun Farm

Fun Farm supports teenagers and adults with disabilities and their families, friends and carers, to engage in experiences and opportunities for skill development, connection and fun.

Fun Farm embraces the social model of disability - they aim to create social change that allows people with disabilities to participate in society on an equal basis with others. 

What does a Branch Secretary do?

Branch Committees are leaders who help to shape and steer an organisation. They represent the organisation at events, they help to ensure goals are achievable and achieved! Fun Farm have established a dynamic Branch Committee which will assist in maintaining, growing and strengthening their community group.

Branch Secretary tasks include:

  • support the aims and objectives of the organisation
  • set agenda and attend and contribute to quarterly Committee meetings and Annual General Meeting
  • take and distribute minutes
  • manage ASIC requirements
  • be over 18 years of age
