Ziggy's Coffee Shop Assistant Volunteers
The Cage Youth Foundation is a not for profit social enterprise that provides a variety of support services to Redlands' youth and families who experience hardship.
The Cage runs Ziggy's - a small coffee bar, and they are recruiting Volunteer Coffee Shop Assistants, preferably with previous hospitality experience, who are keen to be part of a growing community charity.
The Volunteer Coffee Shop Assistant duties include:
- ensuring café areas are warm and welcoming
- café set up, including turning on coffee machine and food warmer
- making tea and coffee
- customer service, including taking orders, money and using EFTPOS
- stock control
- using dishwasher
- general cleaning and tidying up
Skills and qualifications required for this volunteer role:
- barista experience preferable
- great customer service skills and a friendly disposition
- Blue Card and National Police Check (organisation can assist with these)
This is an ongoing role and the organisation will provide onsite training to successful applicants.
