About the Role
As a Volunteer Board Director, you will work collaboratively with fellow Board members to provide strategic direction, good governance and oversight of the organisation.
Board members help shape the future of Fun Farm by:
- Providing strategic guidance and leadership.
- Supporting good governance and ethical decision-making.
- Contributing ideas that help the organisation grow sustainably.
- Championing inclusion, community engagement and innovation.
- Helping ensure the organisation achieves its mission and vision.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking people who:
- Are passionate about making a positive impact in their community.
- Believe in inclusion and opportunities for people living with disability.
- Bring professional skills, lived experience or community connections.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a committed team.
- Are willing to ask questions, contribute ideas and support good governance.
Previous Board experience is not essential. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and will provide support to help you succeed in the role.
Time Commitment
This is a rewarding volunteer role with a manageable commitment.
- Approximately 3–4 Board meetings each year (including the Annual General Meeting).
- Some preparation outside meeting times.
- Meetings may be held in person or online.
