As a Touchscreen Display Research Volunteer, you may assist with:
🔎 Researching local history topics, people, places, and events relevant to the museum's collections
📚 Gathering historical information, photographs, and supporting materials from reliable sources
🖥️ Assisting with the development and organisation of content for touchscreen displays
📝 Writing and editing short, engaging descriptions and historical summaries
📂 Organising digital files, images, and research records
🤝 Working with museum teams to ensure information is accurate, relevant, and engaging for visitors
🏛️ Helping bring Redlands Coast history to life through interactive displays
We are looking for volunteers who:
✅ Have good computer skills and confidence using online research tools
📖 Enjoy researching and learning about local history
📝 Have good written communication and attention to detail
🔍 Can work independently and follow research guidelines
💡 Are curious and enjoy discovering historical stories and information
🤝 Can work collaboratively with museum staff and volunteers
🏛️ Have an interest in local history and community involvement
