Purpose of Position The Volunteer VR Recruitment Support will assist the STAR Volunteer Coordinator in running information sessions. These could include presentations to groups of people and manning an information stand at events or shopping centres.
Key Responsibilities
Duties will vary. Tasks may include:
• gain insight into the software program, Better Impact
• offer matching of volunteers
• monitor Volunteering Redlands email box
• develop and maintain relationships with community groups within the Redlands

- be able to volunteer at least one day a week ( Monday , Wednesday or both )
- strong communication and customer service skills
- basic computer skills
- able to recognise and respect the dignity, privacy, spiritual and cultural needs of clients
- have a caring, compassionate nature
- able to participate in training
- be over 18 years of age
STAR believes volunteering shouldn't leave you out of pocket. STAR reimburses volunteers for daily out-of-pocket expenses—$15 for up to 5 hours or $30 for a full day . This is a non-taxable reimbursement.
