The Support at Home program replaced the Home Care Package Program and the Short-Term Restorative Care Programme from November 1, 2025. It improves access to services, products, equipment and home modifications to help you live independently at home for longer.
Support at Home is an option if you need a coordinated approach to the delivery of your help at home, and if you need help with everyday tasks or have more complex care needs.
There's no place like home. STAR can support you in living in your own home for longer through Support at Home (previously home care package).
