STAR Community Services had the amazing opportunity to be one of Brisbane Broncos 2022 Charity Partners!
As a charity partner, STAR was given an opportunity to engage in a 50-50 Charity Raffle at the Broncos vs Wests Tigers Game on Saturday, 30 July 2022.
Did you know that people over 70 are the loneliest people in Australia? All funds raised from the 50-50 Charity Raffle are put towards supporting a unique initiative by STAR, Bridge Across the Generations, to fight the growing problem of social isolation, by connecting aged care students with STAR's elderly clients.
The Brisbane Broncos Charity Partner Program was established to assist Queensland charities whose values are aligned with those of the Brisbane Broncos.
