Ahoy all Sailors and On Land Support Volunteers!

Want to combine your love of the water and volunteering this Summer?

Sailability Bayside is a not for profit, volunteer-based organisation. Their goal is to enrich the lives of people of all abilities and ages, who may experience social and economic disadvantage by providing opportunities to go sailing and spend time on the water.

Sailability Bayside assist over 4,000 people a year to enjoy sailing on the beautiful Moreton Bay.

Can you support Sailability Bayside by volunteering? Volunteers, with or without sailing experience, can help the operation on land and/or on the water.

Roles and requirements

  • Volunteer sailors ideally with experience. Boating licence or sailing qualifications are a bonus.
  • Land support volunteers can help volunteer in the kitchen, fitting life jackets, helping clients in and out of boats etc 

Volunteers of all ages are welcome. 

If you are interested in sailing but don't have experience, Sailability will teach you how to sail so you can help clients to go sailing in the Bay.

DAYS / TIME REQUIRED

Monday and Thursdays (weather permitting) during school terms only.
